What are PR9 backlinks?
Let’s start with a brief introduction to what PageRank (PR) actually is.

Google calculates PageRank on a scale of 1 to 10, with PR1 being the lowest and PR10 being the highest. Most pages in the top category are PR8 or PR9, because PR10 is very difficult to achieve.
Obviously, backlinks from websites with a high PageRank are more powerful. This led many SEOs to measure the value of a website based solely on PageRank .
So why don’t we hear about PageRank all the time?
Google stopped supporting it a few years ago .
So Google still uses PageRank internally, but they don’t report it to SEOs. You ca n’t view PageRank with a Google tool like you used to.

The SEO world scrambled to create a replacement… which ultimately became Moz’s Domain Authority (DA).
Let’s quickly compare them.
PageRank vs. Domain Authority
Moz created Domain Authority to fill the gap in our data that was created when Google removed PageRank. Today, most SEO tools use office manager / accts. payable patricia limbert DA to measure a web page’s authority.
Essentially, Domain Authority is the new PageRank, just as “fetch” is the new “cool.”
The only major difference between the two is that PageRank describes an entire website, but Domain Authority can fluctuate between individual pages on a website.

However, domain authority is a really good indicator of PageRank. But it’s not 100% accurate.
(For example, a domain authority of 90 clean email is roughly equivalent to PR9.)
Of course, different SEO tools have created their own version of DA, such as Ahrefs with “Domain Rating” and SEOptimer with “Domain Strength”.
Regardless of which metric you use, the purpose is to determine the authority of a web page.
